Workshop Executive Summary Now Available: Critical Knowledge Gaps for Coastal Systems

In March 2024, DOE’s Biological and Environmental Research program held the Critical Knowledge Gaps for Coastal Systems workshop to identify opportunities to improve predictive understanding of coastal systems in the southeast United States. These coastal systems provide substantial economic and environmental value to the nation but are uniquely vulnerable to compounding effects of changing climate and anthropogenic modifications.
